It is hard to define a road trip, other than to say you know when you are on one.   The trips shown here  range from a one day trip with multiple stops to a 7,700 mile cross country and back marathon.   Th earliest road trips portrayed here feature photographs by my father, Joseph Mandelbaum.   The most recent road trip involved driving the Ring Road in iceland, July, 2023
